During the International Congress "Institutional and technical aspects of reforming housing and communal services-2011", held in Kiev on November 9, Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Anatoliy twin handed transitional cups and diplomas of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Head of settlements - winners' Locality best improvement and maintenance of public order "in 2010.
Competition in Urban Landscaping held since 1999, and since 2003 he has captured and countryside. Best determined in six categories of settlements - according to the number of residents. Thus, the first category consists of the city with 500 thousand inhabitants, the second - from 150 to 500 thousand, the third - of 50,000, the fourth - the city with a population of 50,000 inhabitants, the fifth and sixth - in accordance towns and villages.
Total in 2010 took part in the competition 68 localities, which won the previous three qualifying stages of the competition. This 7 cities in the first category, 8 - second, 12 - third, 18 - fourth, 7 towns and 16 villages. Following the decision of the tender committee of experts, the best cities in the first category in 2010 became Kyiv and Kharkiv, the second - Vinnytsia and Ivano-Frankivsk, third - Illichivs'k Odessa Zaporozhye region and Enerhodar.
